Silencing The Roar of The Prancing Horse...?!

🤯 Ferrari is launching a silent electric car.

And then — apparently realising what they'd done — announced they'd add fake engine noise.

Yep.

One of the world's most iconic identities. Built on sound. On fury. On the visceral, unmistakable roar that tells you exactly what you're in the presence of before you've even seen it.

šŸ‘‚ Going silent.

Then artifically simulating what it's supposed to be.

Sound familiar?

Because we are already doing this to many of our organisations.

ā˜„ļø Eliminating the human energy, the friction, the noise and the human connection of once-thriving cultures. Replacing it with AI, automation and the polite, scheduled silence of remote working.

Then wondering why nobody feels anything anymore.

I've personally spent more time away from the energy of people in the last 18 months than in my previous 30+ years working combined. I miss it more than I expected. That absence taught me something I didn't fully understand when I had it:

The noise was never a problem.

The noise was part of the identity.

A quiet Ferrari isn't a Ferrari.

A quiet organisation isn't a culture.

Don't go quiet. Don't fake the noise.

Keep being more human. šŸ”Š
