Would You Buy Brand You?

Imagine yourself as a product on a supermarket shelf.
Go on.
Humour me.
š¶ļø Maybe you're a hot sauce.
šŗ A craft beer.
A body wash (no LI emoji for that...).
šØ A luxury ice cream.
š Now ask yourself honestlyā¦
Is your identity on the product distinctive enough to be picked up off the shelf?
Or are you blending into the shelf-
waiting to be passed over?
It sounds transactional.
Maybe even a little brutal.
But hereās the truth.
Life is full of these moments:
⢠Job interviews
⢠Pitches
⢠Promotions
⢠Partnerships
⢠Even friendships
Moments where you are, quite literally,
being chosenā¦
or passed over.
And the brands that win on the shelf?
They donāt win on features alone.
š They win because they have a clear, distinctive, fully-curated identity
that people recognise, trust, and reach for ā
often before they've consciously decided why.
The same is true for you.
In a world where so much is outside your control ā
ā” Your Human Identity isnāt.
Who you are.
What you stand for.
How you show up - every time.
š„ Thatās the most under-leveraged asset all humans own.
So hereās the question:
Which product are you?
And more importantlyā¦
ā Would you pick you off the shelf?
